White Rectangular Melamine French Pastis Tray, 11" x 8"
DESCRIPTION
Our white melamine Pastis serving tray is made in Pontarlier, France, a small town in the east of the country bordering Switzerland. The town was once boasted as being the number-one maker of absinthe in the world.
Pastis is a popular drink in the south of France. It was invented in the late 1920s as a substitute for absinthe. After absinthe was banned in France in 1915, many still longed for the taste of anis. These days, it is synonymous with sitting outside a bar at a bistro table, sipping a glass of Pastis, and watching the world go by.
Ideal for outdoor entertaining, this rectangular tray is perfect for a poolside party or serving drinks inside a bar or restaurant.
These trays meet the NF Environment (NF 400) mark in France, which is awarded to products that have a reduced effect on the environment while offering an equivalent performance.
