Wrapped 'Absinthe' Sugar Cubes in Bulk, 1,000 Packets (2,000 cubes), Full Case
- DESCRIPTION
- DETAILS
Before the ban (before 1915), it was rare to find someone drinking absinthe without sweetening it first. For this reason, there are many accessories and antique ways to add sugar to absinthe. Absinthe is, and always has been, prepared to suit the individual's taste; therefore, the amount of sugar used depends solely on the drinker's preference.
Packaged sugar cubes (or tablets) are no longer produced in the United States. In 2008, when the last manufacturer ceased production, Bonnecaze quickly took steps to fill the void. Later that year, we began importing our private label sugar cubes from Europe to the United States, and our packaged cubes are now available in Europe.
These cubes are the same ones found in cafes, bars, and restaurants throughout Europe.

- Each packet contains 2 cubes.
- Packets measure 1.25" long x 5/8" wide x 3/8" high.
