This print features an original late 19th century absinthe label from the distillery of Chorot Freres located in Moirans, a tiny town situated in southwest France. The area was once well-known for its wine vineyards.

Silver metallic ink was used on the wormwood branches and leaves, just as it was on the original label. The process of using metallic inks creates a shinny, rich finish and an authentic look. The photo above does not feature the metallic ink.

Please note that the black line that borders the image is not shown on posters. It is used only as a reference for what the poster would look like matted and framed.
